From the collaboration of three historical companies in the field of Italian weaving and knitting and from the careful study of materials and procedures, we present Ontheface the first water-repellent, breathable, and bacteriostatic tubular bandana.
The use and the obligation to wear masks made us think about the inconvenience of the same in certain situations and environments. Wearing the mask in many sports or work activities can be uncomfortable. Just having to pass elastics or tapes behind the ears to many people can be annoying. The masks do not create problems (apart from being uncomfortable) but those who undergo stress, with the mask covering their nose and mouth, breathe a greater amount of carbon dioxide, risking going into alkalosis and therefore risking fainting. Because in this way, you breathe a mixture of CO2 higher than that present in the air.
For this reason, we have created OnthefacE a tubular bandana which has both the comfort of a traditional tubular bandana and the protection of a mask (non-surgical)
The fabric of which it is composed is 100% OEKO-TEX certified Pes and has been treated with sanitizing products based on silver ions making our bandana breathable, water-repellent, and bacteriostatic.
In addition to this, no less important, the same remains washable as a traditional bandana.

L’utilizzo e l’obbligatorietà di indossare mascherine, ci ha fatto ragionare sulla scomodità delle stesse in determinate situazioni ed ambienti. Indossare la mascherina in molte attività sportive o lavorative può essere poco confortevole. Il solo dover passare degli elastici o delle fettucce dietro le orecchie a molte persone può creare fastidio. Le mascherine non creano problemi ( a parte poter essere scomode ) ma chi si sottopone a sforzo, con la mascherina che copre naso e bocca, respira una quantità maggiore di anidride carbonica, rischiando di andare in alcalosi e quindi rischiando lo svenimento. Perché, in questo modo, si respira una miscela di CO2 superiore a quella presente nell’aria.
Per questo motivo abbiamo creato OnthefacE una bandana tubolaren che ha sia la comodità di una bandana tubolare tradizionale, sia la protezione di una mascherina ( non chirurgica )
Il tessuto di cui è composta è 100% Pes certificato OEKO-TEX ed è stato trattato con prodotti sanificanti a base di ioni d’argento rendendo la nostra bandana traspirante, idrorepellente e batteriostatica.
Oltre a ciò, non meno importante, la stessa resta lavabile come una bandana tradizionale.
